Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Ruth Janes at the age of 79. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband of 58 years Harold, children: Sharon (Owen) Rowsell; Grand Falls, Lynn (Harvey) Tulk; Fort McMurray, Leslie (Jean) Janes; Fort McMurray, David (Lucy) Janes; Goose Bay, Juanita Collier (Paul Smith); Sydney NS, Chris (Kim) Janes, Victoria NL, grandchildren: Stephanie (Phil), Danny (Hayley), Sheldon (Jill), Joshua, Michael, Jeanna (Matt), Bobbie-Jo (Ryan), Taylor, Maggie, Gavin, Brittany, 12 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 4 sisters, brother and sisters in law as well as a large circle of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Douglas and Bride Sharron and sister Joan Kennedy. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM, the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17th 2015 at 2:00 pm from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake with Major Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating, interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Wight's Road Deer Lake.
