GALLANT, ROSE MARIE
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Rose “Rosie” Marie Gallant which occurred at the Loch Lomond Village on Monday, February 16th, 2015. Born 1945, in Old Town Maine, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Arsenault) Gallant.
Rosie enjoyed playing bingo and she loved having musical gatherings with her family and friends.
Rosie is survived by her sisters Helen Smith (Stan) of Sussex, Rita Gallant of Saint John; Bernice Roberts of Saint John, Lona Young (Bob) of St. George, May Gionet (Del) of Saint John; special friends Daryl Hamilton and Debbie Richard; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Tuesday, February 17th from 3 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Joachim’s Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 18th at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rosie may be made to Muscular Dystrophy or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
