NEIL, Horace H. –Passed peacefully away on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Leonard A. Miller Centre, in his 83rd year, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by infant son Craig (1963); son-in-law John Lemoine (2005), brother Warren (2002), sister-in-law Greta (2008) and brother-in-law George Dawe (1988). Leaving to mourn with treasured memories are his loving wife of 54 years, Pearl (Herridge); daughter Diane Lemoine; sons: Don (Rhonda), Derrick (Wendy); his six dearly loved grandchildren: Kayla and Justin Neil, Mark and Michael Lemoine, Brianna and Ryan Neil. Also leaving to mourn are his brother Reg (Rita) and sister Beulah Dawe as well as a large circle of family and friends. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Monday, January 19, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
