Everett George Dixon

Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital the passing of Everett George Dixon, age 93, of Montague, husband of the late Sadie (Carver) Dixon.
Born in Gasperaux, P.E.I., on March 8, 1921, he was the son of the late Percy and Lilly (Graham) Dixon. A Veteran of WWII serving overseas from 1939 to 1945.
Everett is survived by his loving children, Grant (Debbie), Barry (Edith), Mackie (Cathy) and Robert (Karen); 12 cherished grandchildren; and three adored great-grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Clow, Gertie (Daryl) Collins, Shirley Clow, Joan Dixon; brother, Bill (Bertha) Dixon; sisters-in-law, Lucy, Lillian, Velma and Laura Dixon; special friend, Peggy Cameron; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a grandchild, Kelcie Dixon; brothers, Archie, Grant, Eldon and Claude; sisters, Edith Clow and Thelma Dixon; brothers-in-law, Laurie Clow, George Dixon, George Clow and Frank Clow.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visitation on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour North Cemetery at a later date.
Donations to the Kings County Memorial Hospital or the Murray Harbour North Cemetery would be appreciated.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 8 will hold a Tribute Service on Wednesday evening at 5:45 p.m.
