PEARL STEVENS
We, the children of the late Pearl Stevens want to express our sincere gratitude for the comfort and support shown to us by family and friends during our recent loss. Thank you to all who visited us, offered words of comfort through sympathy cards, online condolences, telephone calls, floral arrangements and those who gave monetary and memorial donations in Mom's memory. Thank you to those who brought food to our homes and helped in any other way at this most difficult time, we were overwhelmed by your thoughtfulness. To those who attended the wake and funeral, and to those who traveled to be with us, it gave us great comfort. Thank you to Rev. Dana Feltmate for the service of the Celebration of Mom's life and his kind words, to the Organist and Choir of the United Protestant Church of Sydney River for leading the hymns and to Holley Muise for her beautiful solo, it touched our hearts. To her grandson, Mark Gouthro, for reading the words of remembrance written by his brother Steven, who was unable to be with us and to the rest of her grandchildren for standing with him, Nanie would have been so proud; to Gail for her reading of Psalm 23; and to the Pallbearers, her grandsons; Andrew and Mark Gouthro, Jonathan and Troy Stevens and Shawn and Jeffrey Kalbhenn. Thank you to the Elizabeth Pierce Guild for providing a beautiful lunch at the reception following the funeral. Thank you to Wayne and Kollin Weatherbee and the staff at Sydney Memorial Chapel for your compassion and professionalism, it was greatly appreciated. Lastly, we would like to thank the staff at the Cove Guest Home for the excellent care given to our Mom for the years she spent on Skylight; it was so appreciated and will never be forgotten.
To each and every one who helped in any way at this time or during Mom's illness, we thank you, your love, support and kindness will always be remembered.
Lynn, Sandy, Gail, Joanne, Robert and families
