SPENCER, ELIZABETH "BETTY CAIL"
Elizabeth “Betty Cail” Spencer, 82, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Born in Pine Ridge, Kent Co., she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Ethel (Flanagan) Cail.
Betty was formerly employed with Deware’s Supermarket. After raising her family, she then looked after children in her home. Betty loved children and her hobbies included playing scratch tickets, shooting darts and cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Betty will be sadly missed by her daughter, Mary (Cail) Caissie of Moncton; grandchildren, Ronald, Jeannette and Bernice; great grandchildren, Daniel, Mitchell, Evan, Noah, Alicia, Stacey and Hope; sister, Jean Beers (late Ivan).
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara (Cail) Jones; sons-in-law, Edward Caissie and Richard Jones; five brothers and six sisters.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Betty will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 10:30 am with Rev. Patti Rossiter officiating. Interment, Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
In Betty’s memory, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
