Donald J. Guilderson, age 69, of Parrsboro passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan.
Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Leo and Genevieve (Parker) Guilderson. He is survived by his wife, the former Suzanne Smith; a daughter, Angela Colborne (Lyndon Cooper), Parrsboro; a son, Trevor (Tanya), Halifax; brothers, Albert (Ruth), Amherst; Clarence (Fran), Campbell River, B.C.; Patrick (Donna), Masstown; seven grandchildren, Jesse (Shelby), Quinn, Brady and Jackson Colborne; Rebecca, Darren (Rebecca) and Tayah Guilderson; a great granddaughter, Violet Guilderson; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Joan in infancy.
There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. in Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev. Philip Scott officiating. Reception to follow at the Parrsboro Baptist Church Hall. Burial in the Parrsboro Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
