At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, February 19, 2015 of Harold "Bub" MacLean, Hunter River, age 88 years. Predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Gladys (Andrews).
Bub will be sadly missed by his companion Mitzy. Loving father of Flora MacLennan (Freeman, deceased), Dorothy Clow (Eugene "Sonny"), David (Trena) and Darlene Waye. Father-in-law of Allison Waye. Loving grandfather of 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Brother of Arnold (Betty), Allison, Alice Morrison (Lea, deceased), Mary Weeks, Ruth Smith (Earl), Helen MacLeod (Brian) and Marjorie. Brother-in-law of Joan MacLean, Sylvia MacLean, Robert Andrews (Anna, deceased), James Andrews and Shirley Andrews.
Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Edna (Smith) MacLean; brothers, Gordon, Stanley (Helen), Harry and Cyril in infancy; by his grandson, Ronnie MacLennan; and great-great-grandson, John Leslie Weeks.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment later in Hunter River Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hunter River Presbyterian Church or to the Hemodialysis Unit of the Prince County Hospital.
