Peacefully, with family by his side, at the Palliative Care Unit, Prince Edward Home on Saturday, January 17, 2009, of Mr. Garth B. McKenna of Winsloe and formerly of Elmsdale, age 47 years. Loving father of Matthew of Winsloe and beloved son of Audrey and the late Cyril McKenna of Charlottetown. Also survived by his brothers and sisters, Linda Waite, Charlottetown, Howard (Debbie), Charlottetown, Donna (Leonard) LeBlanc, Saint John, N.B., Doug (Shirley), Charlottetown, Diane (Gerard) MacIntyre, Charlottetown, Francis (Diane), Charlottetown, Marlene (Norm) Mortimer, Ont., Brenda (Brent) MacKinnon, Ont. and Paul (Kelly), Ont.; aunts and uncles; 22 nieces and nephews; 13 grandnieces & nephews; numerous cousins and good friend, Sandee Peters. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 Wednesday morning then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment later in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
