Genevieve (Moakler) Williams (nee Lundrigan)

Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Friday, February 20, Genevieve Williams of the Goulds, formerly of Witless Bay and Bay Bulls. Genevieve was predeceased in death by husbands James Moakler (1984) and Michael Williams (1996), parents Mary and Wilfred, sister Lucy Dunham, brothers Mike and George Lundrigan and son-in-law Adrian Howlett. Genevieve is survived by son Shawn, daughters Marie Joy and Carolyn (Carly) (Howlett) Spencer (David). Beloved Grandchildren Cheryl (Howlett), Gascoyne (James), Keith Howlett (Cindy), Brian Joy (Anita), Dennis Joy, Step-grandchildren Jackie (Spencer), Farthing (Paul), Jenny Spencer (Younes), Jeff Spencer (Sherry). Great-grandchildren Alex and Mary Gascoyne, Patrick, Matthew and Claire Howlett, Chandra and Devi Joy, Justice and Kaden Joy, Step-great grandchildren Hana, Paige and Kelsey Farthing, Eliot Jellali, Abby and Lexi Spencer. Sister Bride Harrigan of Witless Bay, Sister-in-law Bella Murphy, Brampton, Ontario. Fondly remembered by a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins especially niece Margie Swain and great niece Kelly Swain, Witless Bay and the Dunham and McDonald families of Nantucket. Caregivers Anita Reynolds and Mary Hearn, members of the Goulds Daffodil Club as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Alteen and the staff of St. Patrick's Nursing Home, First Floor North for their compassion and care. Cremation has taken place at her request. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road on Monday February 23 from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place in Caul's Chapel on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. Inurnment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Genevieve's name may be made to the Down Syndrome Society of Newfoundland.
