It is with great sadness that the families of Steadman Payne announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, February 21st, 2015, at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons; Darrell (Angie), Desmond (Heather), & stepson Bruce (Sherry), son-in-law Brian, his grandchildren; Megan (Adam), Shane, Nicholas, Lucas, Jahne, Jayde, Joshua, & Jacob, his great grandson; Kyler, his siblings; Geraldine (Coyley), Dulcie (Eric), Diana, Korina, Roger (Daphne), Cynthia (Clayton), his brother-in-laws; Ernest (Marilyn), Junior (Nicole), Eric (Marie), Will (Marie), Jim (Lindsay), John (Roxanne), & Hedley (Nadia), his sister-in-law; Marie (Gordan), also a large number of extended family & friends. Steadman was predeceased by his wife; Lillian, daughter; Mavis, brother; Melvin, brother-in-law; Albert, & his parents; Guy & Eva Payne. The family will be receiving family and friends from the St. Paul's Anglican Church in St. Paul's, NL, on Monday, February 23rd, 2015, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Wednesday, February 25th, 2015, at 2: pm, with Rev: Terry Rose officiating with the burial to follow at the Anglican Church cemetery in St. Paul's, NL.
