Audrey (nee Shea) Kane passed away peacefully at Lafontaine Terrace on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009, at the age of 65. Beloved soulmate of the late Siegfried Quast. Cherished mother of Brenda, Terry (Trevor), Lori and Sandy (Paul). Loving nanny of Amanda, Justin, Cassandra, Jessica, Robert, Dylan, Gregory, Olivia and Chase. Devoted great-grandma of Hayden and Megan. Sister of Joan (Tony), Wade, and Erma (Bill). Niece of Nelson Shea, Sister Angela Shea and Sister Laura Shea. Fondly remembered by George Kane. Also lovingly remembered by her stepchildren, Frank and Sabine. Will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Predeceased by parents Russell and Freda Shea. Audrey was met at the rainbow bridge by her many cherished pets to accompany her on her journey home. Audrey’s family will receive relatives and friends from 12 to 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Audrey’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. followed by a reception.
