It is with heavy hearts that we the family announce the passing of our dear mother Carol, at home, surrounded by family on Feb. 21, 2015.
Carol was a loving mother and grandmother who spent her life truly devoted to her children and grandchildren, who cherished every moment they spent with her.
Carol is survived by her children, Cheryl Lewis (Gary), Dana Neville, Alan Neville, Brad Neville (Karen), Shoneth MacKinnon (Wayne Smart), Staci Walker (James); sister, Lois Smith (Gordon). Grandmother to Andrew, Chelsea (Norman), Shannon, Braden and Ashlyn Neville, Jennifer and Megan Moore, Kenna MacKinnon and Aiden Smart, Seamus Walker and nieces and nephews, Kim Zablaska (Ray), Heather MacLean (Derwin), grandnieces Lauren and Ella MacLean.
Predeceased by her parents Jean and Mathew Hill and her brother Roger Hill.
A memorial service will be held at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 26 with Rev. Laura McCue officiating.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Cape Breton Chapter of the Parkinson’s Society.
