McDow, Clyde Edward – 91, Londonderry
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our father Clyde at his home in Londonderry at the age of 91 on February 22, 2015. Clyde was born in Waterville, Kings County, on January 17, 1924 to the late Robert and Nancy (Deadder) McDow. Clyde worked most of his adult life at Lafarge in Brookfield and retired in 1989. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cribbage. Clyde is survived by his children, Stephen (Linda), Onslow, Allan Dobson, Ontario, Kevin Dobson, Londonderry, Margaret (Scott) Lynds, North River, daughters-in-law, Susan and Florence Dobson; half- sisters, Millie, Toronto, Marion Babcock, Port William, Goldie Keddy, Berwick, Beulah Anderson, Houlton, Maine; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred (George); son, Robert Dobson; grandson, Gage Lewis; brothers, Murray and Jack. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 26 at 6:30 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Rev. Natasha DeVito officiating.
