Pap passed away with the great care of all the staff of Christenson Village. Survived by his wife Lucia (Vermeer) residing in Edmonton, AB with his four daughters, Margo, Eveline (Lorne), Cathy (Gerry) and Leah; his son Bert (Bernice) in Gibsons, BC; his grandchildren, Blaine (Hazel), Nathan,  Brittney and Bryce; and his great-grandson Tyson.
Bert and Bernice would like to thank everyone in the community who kept their eyes open when Pap went for his long hikes. Thanks to home care when he lived with us, Christenson Village staff, Vanessa Knox and staff with Independent Lifestyles, Life Labs Mobile lab girls, Dr. Stinson and Frank and Diny Vanderloo for always being there.
