BEARNS, James (Jim) Francis (Frank) — Passed away suddenly in the presence of his loving family and the Lord at his home in Pouch Cove on January 17, 2009. James Francis Bearns, formerly of 45 Goodridge St. aged 63 years. Predeceased by his loving parents Sidney and Kathleen Bearns, parents-in-law Bill and Ruth Hillier, special brother-in-law Dave Hillier and special friend Gord Thompson. Leaving to mourn his sweetheart wife Judy; three adoring daughters and son-in-laws: Sherry (Brett), Karen (Kenny) and Jamie (Jason); one precious grandson: Jason Walsh and his precious doggie Buddies; special friends: Gary (Eileen) Layman, Allan Branton, Jeff Parsons, George Tremblett, Jimmy King, Don Tuff, Perry (Donna) Langmead, Bob (Patsy) Gulliver, Leo Wall, Frances Walsh, Krista (Eddie) Ash, Lisa (Will) McLeod, Randy (Maxine) Cooper and friends too numerous to mention. Loving aunt Elsie Bearns; special cousins: Frankie Pennell, Lucy Rumsey, Elizabeth King, Eileen Fraser, Lucy Fowler, Marie Squires, Mary Aylward and Joanna McDonald; special brother and sister-in-laws: Rosalie Dawe, Len (Isabel) Hillier, Ruth (Rick) Stanley and Cathy (Don) Fitzpatrick. Special thanks to the staff and patients of the Waterford Dialysis Unit. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist Church. Cremation to follow.
