The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, February 22, 2015, of Hanson Oliver, of Summerside, aged 98 years. Born in Huntley, he was the son of the late Nelson and Janie (Sellick) Oliver. Survived by his wife June (Gordon) Oliver; children James (Sandy) Oliver, Lorraine Oliver, Lowell (Nancy) Oliver, Kay (Ronald) Thompson; by 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; by a sister Pearl Bell; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his infant son Thane; a sister Georgie Oliver; and by brothers Fred, John, Henry and Lloyd Oliver. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to the Summerside Church of the Nazarene, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be appreciated. www.moase.ca
