CORMIER, DR. PAUL E., D.D.S.
Dr. Paul E. Cormier, D.D.S., 92, of Moncton, with his family at his side, passed away suddenly at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Antoine and Alvina (Melanson) Cormier.
Paul was a retired dentist. He was a life member and past Exalted Ruler of the BPOE Elks Lodge #229, a life member of the Air Force Veterans Club and former member of the Boishebert Club in Shediac. In past years, he and Marg enjoyed travelling, spending the winters in Florida, fishing, watching sports (especially curling) and spending time with his family.
Paul will be sadly missed by his life partner, Margaret Hubley-Cormier; children, Lise Ann Cormier of Halifax, NS, Karen Wilson (Terry) of Ottawa, ON and Robert of Salisbury, (daughter-in-law, Lynda Jean of Moncton); step-children, Raymond Hubley (Noreen), June Hanson (Graydon), Cheryl LeBlanc (Keith), Todd Hubley (Holly); grandchildren, Nicolas, Daniel and Kailee; step-grandchildren, Heather (Paul), Shannon, Allison (Tyler), Sean (Nadja), Ryan (Sarah)and Christina (Brad); step-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Isaiah, Niko and Addison; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Lorraine; and brothers, Dr. George Cormier and Dr. Leo Cormier; and former wife, Ann Fleming (the mother of Bob and Lise).
A Sharing of Memories to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road (858-1995) on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Interment will be held in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, in the spring
