It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stan Hillier. Stan was a businessman, having had many business ventures in life, most recently as the owner/operator of the Great Canadian Dollar Store.
Stan was a man of faith, involved with Full Gospel Businessmen while residing in Ladner, and loved to share his love of Jesus with others.
Stan had a large heart, especially for his kids, taking on the role of Grandpa to three children, Hiro, Anri and Shota, and helped many others in life with his wisdom, advice and compassion.
Stan leaves behind Mary Beth Coquia, her grandchildren and many friends and people close to him who became family.
Mary Beth thanks those who have passed along condolences and provided meals and assistance through the process of grief.
A funeral service was held at Bethel Baptist Church on Friday, February 13. Stan was laid to rest in Seaview Cemetery.
He will be missed by many.
