The death occurred suddenly at the Colville Manor in Souris on Monday, March 2, 2015 of Lillian Carter, in her 95th year.
Wife of the late Thomas Carter. Beloved mother of Esther (Francis) Laybolt, Louis (Rita), Henry, Isabell MacKenzie, Anne Marie (Reggie) Laybolt, Kathleen Peters, Archie (Marie), Charlie (Mary), Francis (Jen), Joe (Rhonda) and Brian (Heiki). Fondly remembered by 31 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brother and sisters, Simon, Mary Anne, Geneiva and Lottie; daughter-in-law, Eileen; son-in-law, Willard MacKenzie; and friend, Lindsay Hendsbee.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visitation on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Souris for funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery at a later date.
Memorials to St. Mary's Cemetery or Colville Manor would be appreciated.
