McLEAN, ELIZABETH "BETTY"
It is with great sadness, the McLean family announce the passing of Elizabeth “Betty” Bernadette McLean, on March 3, 2015 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on April 9, 1935, in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Florence (Goudreau) Butler.
Surviving are her husband, J. Reginald “Reg” McLean; sons, Mark McLean (Gail Mummery), David McLean; daughter, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Saulnier; brother, James (Joan) Butler; grandchildren, Alysha Saulnier and Benjamin Saulnier; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers David and Edward.
Betty was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11:00 am from St. Peter’s Church, 50 Clarendon Street. A private interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, at a later date.
