Marguerite Cormier, 94, wife of the late Armand Cormier of Shediac, N.B., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 19, 2009, at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton, N.B., following a short illness. Born July 28, 1914 in Shediac, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Cenerise (Gautreau) Belliveau. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, five children: Suzanne , Maurice (Margot Folster) and Guy (Betty Melanson) all of Shediac, André (Wendell Cameron) of Summerside, P.E.I., and Raymond (Mount Royal Salon) of Moncton; four grandchildren: Denis (Lise Drisdelle) of Saint John, Brigitte Bourque (Victor) of Shediac, Karen Cormier of South Carolina, U.S.A., Donna Cormier of Moncton; one stepgranddaughter Natasha Duplessis (René) of Grand-Barachois; four great-grandchildren: Maxime, Xavier, James Alexander and Brandon; two stepgreat-grandchildren: Nicola and Patrick; three sisters: Laura Lirette (late Arthur) and Hélène Boudreau (Edmond) both of Shediac and Joséphine Tardif (late Armand) of East Angus, Q.C.; two sisters-in-law: Leda Belliveau of Shediac and Yvette Cormier of Dieppe, her care giver Tanya Hébert and by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Armand (1983), she is also predeceased by one brother Arthur Belliveau, three sisters: Mélina Bourque, Lorette Belliveau and Florence Robineau and by daughter-in-law Anita Cormier.
