RAE, HELEN
The passing of Helen Alberta Rae occurred on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her residence in Loch Lomond Villa.

Born in Saint John on December 11, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Annie Beatrice (Cheyne) and Gordon Warren Rae. Prior to her retirement, Helen worked as a Teacher, primarily at Glen Falls School, and a Reading Supervisor for the former District 20 (now Anglophone South School District).

Helen is survived by her brother, Charlie Rae; sisters-in-law, Rowena Rae and Mary Rae; nieces and nephews: Gordon Rae, Dawn Rae, Judy Coston, Jill Rae, Jane Rae, Bev Pearson, Stephen Rae, Marilyn Williams, and Evelyn Feicht; and cousins: Frank and David Loomer. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters: Gretta Williams and F. Hilda Rae; and her brothers: John and Wendell Rae.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:00 am with visitation in the chapel at 10:00. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery at a later date.
