The death occurred at The Summerset Manor, Summerside on Friday, March 6, 2015, of Allison Joseph “Arnold” Raynor of Summerside, formerly of Enmore, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Lois (Hierlihy). Born on Sept. 22, 1935, in Summerside, son of the late Allison and Edith (Wilkinson) Raynor. Dear father to Donald (Kim), Enmore; Arlene (Paul) MacKenzie, Summerside; Darrell (Wendy), Enmore; Rebecca (Trent) MacDonald, Riverview, N.B.; Rachel (Chris) Miner, Darlington and Dean (Melissa), Enmore. Loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arnold is also survived by his brother John (Margaret) Raynor, Enmore; sisters and brothers- in-law Stanley (Nancy) Hierlihy, Hebron; Betty (Ira) Kember, Linkletter; Peggy Hierlihy, Hebron; Hazel (Serge) Leger, Nouvelle, Que.; Ruth (Kenny) McKenna, Norboro; Mark Hierlihy, Toronto; and David (Angela) Hierlihy, Hebron. Arnold was predeceased by his parents and first wife Ernestine. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Tuesday, March 10, 2015, from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 11, at 11 a.m. Interment in People's Cemetery, Victoria West in the spring. In memory of Arnold, memorials to People’s Cemetery, Victoria West or to the P.E.I. Home Care Program would be appreciated.
