We, the family of the late Neil “Nicky” MacDonald of New Waterford, would like to express our sincere thanks to our family, friends, neighbours and co-workers for the love and support shown to us during the loss of our loved one. We are extremely grateful for your phone calls, visits, cards, online condolences, food, shared memories, charitable donations and flowers. Sincere thanks are extended to Dr. Anne Frances D’Intino and the staff of the An Cala Unit; Dr. Pahil and the staff of the Cancer Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital; and to Dr. Stephen Farrell for his care and compassion. A special thanks to Father Ray Huntley for the beautiful mass and homily. To Deacons Leo Penney and Lorne MacNeil, altar servers, and gift bearers Margie and Francis Browner, our sincere thanks. Words cannot express our appreciation to the St. Leonard’s parish choir members for their beautiful contribution. Heartfelt thanks to Jimmy, Tom, Jody, and Steve for the readings and their participation in Nicky’s service.
