We, the family of the late Anthony (Tony) Gale, wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to our family, friends, co-workers and neighbours for their love and support during this difficult time. Thank you to those who visited, emailed, phoned, sent flowers, made memorial donations, sent cards, monetary gifts, or food; your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. To those who travelled from out of town to be with us thank you. A special thanks to friends Wendy, Veronica and Blair who were a constant source of support throughout Dad’s illness through their food, acts of kindness and just being there when we needed to talk. A special thank you to the doctors and staff Cape Breton Cancer Centre, VON, Palliative Care and Red Cross. To Dad’s nieces, Carrie and Wanda and nephew, Tim for readings. We also want to express thanks to Father Paul Murphy and the Choir of Holy Redeemer Parish for the beautiful funeral mass. Sincere thanks to Bill Laurie and staff of Pier Community Funeral Home for your compassion and exemplary service in accommodating our wishes in making final arrangements for our Dad. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
