Terence Muirhead

Terence Earl “Terry” Muirhead, 61 of Pine Tree, Pictou County, passed away March 10, 2015 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Ronald and Jeanne (Langille) Muirhead. He was predeceased by a brother Richie.
He is survived by his wife the former Mary (Russell) of Pine Tree; his sons Bruce (Lauren Morrissey), Pine Tree; Colin (Lindsey Aucoin), Edmonton; a brother Kenneth (Francine Muirhead), Pine Tree; nephews David (April) and Connor.
Terry was a resident of Pine Tree since 1995. He was a former corporal of the RCMP, serving for some 23 years. He was stationed in Ontario for a number of years. He then moved to Newfoundland where he spent nine years, returning to Ontario in 1990. He moved back to Nova Scotia in 1995 where he resided at Pine Tree. He was an adherent of Trinity United Church in New Glasgow. Terry was a hunting/fishing enthusiast, and enjoyed time spent at Indian Lake.
Cremation to take place.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday from Trinity United Church, New Glasgow with Rev. Donna Tourneur presiding. Burial of ashes will take place at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Donations in memory of Terry may be made to the Pictou County SPCA.
