We, the family of the late Mary “Martha” MacMillan, would like to extend our sincere thanks to those who supported our family during the recent passing of our mother/wife. To the medical staff of 4B and the Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, your compassion, devotion and care were very much appreciated. To the neighbours who so graciously provided food and comfort; to those who came out to the wake and celebration of life service, we thank you. To those who visited in hospital, sent cards and online condolences, provided flowers and memorial donations, your kindness will not be forgotten. Special recognition is extended to Rev. Lyle, Winnie and Pat Chafe for their beautiful music, the Friendship Guild for the wonderful lunch following the service and to the staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel for their professionalism and attention to detail. May God bless each and every one of you.
