BOUDREAU, OLA
Ola Boudreau, 89, of Shediac, formerly of Haute-Aboujagane, passed away on Friday March 13, 2015 following a brief illness. Born October 24, 1925 in Haute-Aboujagane, he was the son of the late Aimé and Justine (Landry) Boudreau.
Prior to his retirement, Ola worked 38 years as a carpenter for CNR.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dora (Thibodeau); five daughters: Monette LeBlanc (Gérald) and Estelle Mazerolle (David), both of Shediac; Joanne Gallant (Léonard) of Grand-Barachois, Pauline Goguen (Marcel) of Saint-André-LeBlanc, and Berthe Ryan (Gary) of Cap-Pelé; six sons: Coral (Juliette), Aumont (Joanne) and Normand (Noëlla), all of Haute-Aboujagane, Hubert and Bertrand (Monique) of Shediac, and Francis (Pauline) of Notre-Dame; one sister, Louisa Arsenault of Haute-Aboujagane; one brother, Bernard (Zina) of Haute-Aboujagane; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Janice (2000); a grandson, Jason; two brothers: Adrice and Ovide; two half-sisters: Rita LeBlanc and Edna Drisdelle; one half-brother, Mélas Boudreau.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, 944, Route 933 in Haute-Aboujagane on Tuesday March 17, 2015 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in parish cemetery.
