CLARK, DONALD SAMUEL
The unexpected death of Don Clark of Pennfield, husband of Alice (Young) Clark occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 13, 2015. He was born on June 17, 1949 in Westfield to the late Samuel and Inez Clark.
Don worked as an operator for NB Power at Point Lepreau for over 25 years. He was a member of Pennfield United Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. Don loved his church and his church family. He was past-master of the St. George Masonic Lodge #15 and past-worthy patron for the Eastern Star. Don was actively involved in Fundy Minor Hockey, coaching when his children were young. Above all he loved and was very proud of his family.
Besides his beloved wife of over 35 years Alice, Don is survived by his sons: Jeff (Selina) of Pennfield, Andrew (Krystle) of St. George and Adam (Daphne) of Quispamsis; grandchildren: Janessa, Ethan, Jayden, Colbey and Sophia; brother, Robert (Kathy) of Mill Cove; sister, Viola DeBow (Donald) of Grand Bay-Westfield and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George NB (755-3533). Resting at the Pennfield United Baptist Church on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Masonic Tribute Service will be held on Monday starting at 6:45 pm. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Reg Ward officiating. The interment will be held in the Pennfield Rural Cemetery in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
