It is with great sadness that the family of the late Minnie P. Cassell announce her passing on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends especially the residence and staff at the Humber Valley Complex in Deer Lake where she lived for many years. She was predeceased by her parents James and Levina Cassell, brothers Elijah, Peter, David, George and Joseph, sisters Annie, Sarah and Florence. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Wednesday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
