Suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, the passing of Peggy MacLeod, RN, of Montague, age 69 years, occurred on Sunday, March 15, 2015.
Born February 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Lois (Smith) MacLeod. She was an RN for over 25 years and sat on the Montague Town Council from 2009 to 2014.
Peggy is survived by her sisters, Dianne (Barry) White and Jeanne Hibbs; nieces and nephews, Nancy White, Debby (Ken) Beck, Sherry White, Robert White, Michael (Tracy) Goodwin and Tammy (Bob) Auchterlonie. Peggy was predeceased by her children: infant daughter, Elizabeth Whitlock, and sons, Darren and David Whitlock.
Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home, with visiting on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 4 to 7 p.m., storm date will be Sunday. In lieu of a funeral, Peggy requested a private burial service in the spring.
