On March 17th, 2015 Winnifred Margorie Walters (nee: Damon) passed away peacefully in Abbotsford, B.C. at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Walter James Walters and brothers Robert, Howard and Edmund Damon and sister Freda Fincham. She is survived and lovingly remembered by son Robert and daughter Beverley Doan (Neal), sister Olive Graves, grandchildren Kristen Springthorpe (Jonathan) and Jeffrey Doan (Ting) and great-grandchildren Elijah, Jeremy and Olivia Springthorpe as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Walters was born in Moose Jaw in 1931 and resided there until moving to Abbotsford, B.C. in 2013. She was a long time member of St. Michael's and All Angels Church (later St. Aidan's/St. John's). An interment and graveside ceremony will be held in Moose Jaw at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers or cards a donation can be made to the charity of your choice.
