Passed peacefully away at the St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Predeceased by her husband Bill; infant son Peter; sisters Audrey, Jean, and Shirley and brother Leighton. Left to celebrate her life are her sons Bill (Carolynn), Dave (Janet) and Gary (Isabelle); grandchildren Billy (Shawna), Peter, Ashleigh (Dave), David (Ashley), Katherine (Jeff), Christopher and one great-grandchild William, who she adored; sister Betty Johnson; sister-in-law Lurley Browne; brother-in-law Fabian Kennedy and many nieces and nephews, especially Margaret Ann, Shirley and Barbara. A special thanks to Jessie's care givers Howa and Mary. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Church on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jessie's name may be made to The Saint Vincent De Paul Society, Corpus Christi Church.
