MCINTYRE, RUTH CHARLOTTE
Ruth Charlotte McIntyre passed away on March 9, 2015 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born on September 19, 1920 in Smithtown, NB she was a daughter of the late Joseph “Newton” and Martha (Lackie) Bell.

Ruth began her adult life as a schoolteacher and later devoted herself to being a loving wife and mother. She will be remembered with aching hearts.

Surviving are her children, Christopher McIntyre, Ottawa; Martha Rinehart, Saint John; sisters, Lulu Bell, Smithtown and Lily Bell; grandchildren, Andrew Rey-McIntyre, Katrina Rey-McIntyre and Amalia Rey-McIntyre; great-grandchildren, Carson and Nolan Rey-McIntyre.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Thomas Bell and Dalton Bell.

Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, March 27, from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
