MAGEE, RAYMOND
1934 – 2015
Raymond Magee, 80, of Lutes Mountain, NB passed away on Monday, March 16th, 2015. Born in Ammon, he was the son of the late William and Lottie Mae (MacPherson) Magee.

Raymond was a retired heavy equipment mechanic and painter. He also possessed a lifelong love, talent and passion for bluegrass music and that love was demonstrated in his ability to expertly play guitar and mandolin (and many other instruments). Raymond always loved the chance to play music with other people, especially his brother Ben.

Raymond was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Lillian (Renton) Magee. Raymond was also predeceased by sisters, Laura Laird and Mildred Horsman; brothers, Elmer, Walter, Melvin, Leonard, Fred, Winford, William, Edward, Perry, Granville and Guilford and his brothers-in-law Murray (Donna) Renton and Henry (Linda) Renton.

He is survived by his children, Barbara Polmeer (Errol), Australia, Randy, Veteran, AB, and Dave, Calgary, AB; precious grandchildren, Melissa (Donny), Tamara (Matt), Bryana, Chelsea and Matthew; cherished great grandchildren, Taylor, Noah and Lillyth; brothers-in law, Lloyd (Judy) Renton and Roland Renton; and many nephews and nieces.

A gathering to celebrate Raymond’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm. Interment, Stilesville Cemetery, Stilesville, in the spring.
