(nee Andrews) Of Bell Island. Dying as she lived, Millicent passed quietly into the gates of heaven on March 23, 2008 at St. Clare's Hospital, in her 85th year. Reunited at last with her parents John and Elizabeth; her brothers Bill and Jack; her sisters: Gladys, Lavinia, Jean, Marian and Marg and her precious daughter Susan. Leaving to remember and pass on her lifetime of stories and love are her husband of nearly 63 years Loil; her daughter and best friend Marg; her sons: Walt (Chris), John (Paula), Bruce (Val), Mel (Norma), Colin (Lori) and their families. Special thanks to daughter-in-law Lori for so many bedside hours and to the nursing staff at 7 East at St. Clare's for their exemplary care of Millicent over the last months. Millicent was a devoted family person, putting her family above all else. Her passing on Easter Sunday was indicative of her strong faith in the Lord. She will be resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 25 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 26 from noon to 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday, March 27 at 2 p.m. from Jackson United Church.
