Passed away suddenly at St. Clare's Hospital, on March 21, 2015, John Francis McEvoy, of Admiral's Beach, St. Mary's Bay, aged 81 years. Predeceased by parents John & Nora and sisters: Ida, Edith, Margaret and Josephine. Leaving to mourn loving wife and life partner of 53 years Helen (nee Ryan); six daughters: Darlene (Kevin Bennett), Karen (Jerry Keats), Nora, Leona, Wendy (Allan Roach) and Marsha (Tony Watton), son John, 19 grandchildren: Bailey, Zachary, Alexander Miranda, Dominic, Xavier, Zatara, Tyeena, Zedric, Zavanna, Zyerra, Tina, Curtis, Alyssa, Nathan, Christopher, A.J., Chloe and Jaxon and many other relatives and friends. A very special thank you is extended to the nurses and staff of 5 East St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, especially Dr. Brown who will be remembered for his compassion and care. Resting at Queen of Holy Rosary Church, Admirals Beach, on Monday, March 23, from 1 - 3pm, for family only, with visitations for the public from 5 - 7pm and on Tuesday, March 24, 2 - 6pm. No visitation will be held on Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 25, at 2:30pm, at Admirals Beach. Cremation to follow.
