Passed peacefully away at St. Claire s Mercy Hospital in the presence of her family and friends after a very courageous battle with cancer. Leaving to mourn her mother Ann, daughter Emily, partner Howie Caterer, his three daughters Tamarra, Brianna & Kristyn. Her brothers Billy (Tina) and Carl Gushue, Great Uncle Bill Kavanagh, Aunt Nellie Boland, Uncles Carl and Walter (Ev) Boland, Cousins Corwin Boland (Carmen, Declan & Dannan) and Krista McDonald (Rodney, Erin & Emma). Also a large circle of family and friends both at home and "away". Sandy will always be remembered for her love of life and her contagious smile, there sure was a lot of personality packed into that little person. As requested cremation has taken place, visitation Friday March 27, 2015 from 2:00-9:00 pm at Ryan's Funeral Home, Bay Bulls, NL. Mass of Christian Burial to take place on Saturday, March 28th at Immaculate Conception R. C. Church, Calvert at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Emily Joudrey Post Secondary Education Fund.
