August 6, 1923 - March 20, 2015
Born in the west London suburb of Feltham, Eric proudly served with the East Surrey Regiment RAOC during WWII, receiving both campaign and distinguished service medals.
After immigrating to Canada in 1947, Eric eventually settled in Gibsons during the ’60s, working as a truck driver with Gibsons Building Supplies for many years, until retirement.
Eric was an avid fisherman who also enjoyed long summer drives throughout much of BC.
Eric was especially well known for his desire to help others within the community, volunteering many hours driving fellow seniors on the Sunshine Coast.
Eric’s wonderful sense of humour and compassion will be deeply missed by his many friends in Gibsons.
