Betty Fillmore
FILLMORE, BETTY (SCOVILLE)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty (Scoville) Fillmore on March 20th, at her home in New Market, Ontario. Betty was born Febuary 8, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Aaron and Marion (Dole) Scoville.
Betty is survived by her husband Bill, her children, Debbie (Randy) Smallwood, David, John, Bobby and Billy, five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, sisters Rita (Reg) Cosman, Linda (Art) Nurse and Donna Hunter, brothers, Murray (Shirley), Ronnie (Barb), Billy (Jana), Wayne (Vicky) and Jeffery Scoville.
Betty drove school bus in Toronto before retiring. She had loved playing bingo, watching The Bold & The Beautiful, and of course The Young & The Restless. Betty was also a very true and loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs; win or loss she loved them anyway. Most of all Betty loved Christmas, she so enjoyed putting out all her decorations but mostly her collection of dolls.
Betty will be so missed by all her family and friends. She had a heart of gold, always thinking and worrying about everyone else never about herself. Betty never had a bad word to say about anyone.
“Betty your beautiful smile and hearty laugh will be missed dearly by all who loved you”
Betty was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Doris Marr, Thelma Zwicker, nephews, Kevin Gregg and Billy Scoville Jr.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will take place in New Brunswick at a later time.
