The death occurred peacefully at Whisperwood Villa on Monday, March 23, 2015 of Evelyn Margaret Gauthier, of Charlottetown, age 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank Gauthier.
Dear mother of Sandra (Rupert) MacBeath, Susan (Ross) Woodward, Stephen (Valerie) Gauthier and Sharon (Ken) Martin. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jeff, Jill, Danielle, Jennifer, Steven, Holly, Jason, Nicole, Megan and Michael. Evelyn is also survived by great-grandchildren, Samantha, Ben, Casey, Andy, Hannah, Abigail, Evelyn and Beatrice; sisters, Arlene MacNeill and Barb MacDonald; sons-in-law, Bill Underhay and Lorne MacDougall; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Edmund and Mary (nee Martin) Gallant; daughters, Sharlene Underhay and Shelley MacDougall; siblings, Jean Cudmore, Irene Doiron, Marion Cudmore and David Gallant.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Saturday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. There will be no visitation by personal request. Interment at a later date in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
