BREEN, Michael John, 1926 - 2009– Passed away peacefully, at the KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Butt) of 57 years. Loving father of Michael and his wife Linda, Sheila and her husband Leonard (Latour). Dear grand-father of Amanda and Michael Breen Jr., Andrew Latour his wife Estelle. Great-Grandpa to Hannah and Emma Latour. Sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his parents John and Bridgette Breen (nee Ryan), four brothers and 2 sisters. At Michael’s request there will no visitation or funeral service. Friends are invited to share their memories of Michael with his family during a celebration of Michael’s life at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Friday, January 23, 2009, from 2 to 4 pm. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr Mala Bahl and Nurse Susan for the outstanding care shown to Michael. The family also wishes to extend their thanks to Michael’s home-care nurse Anita.
