Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s on Monday, March 23, 2015, Brenda Barnes (Bartlett) of Goose Cove, T. Bay, aged 63 years. Predeceased by her husband Reuben Barnes and parents William and Mabel Bartlett. Left with fond and loving memories her sisters Glenda Verge, Pickle Lake, ON, Bernice Gibbons (Truman), Trinity and Diane Shears (Jim), Churchill Falls; brother Derek Bartlett (Madonna), Trinity; brother-in-law Cluney Barnes (Patsy), Dunfield; also leaving with loving memories five nieces and seven nephews; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Trinity. Funeral service took place on Friday, March 27, 2015 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Trinity with interment at St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Trouty. In her memory donations may be made to the Arthritis Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
