On Monday, March 30, 2015, our father Danny, while peacefully sleeping, took his final drive to meet his Lord.
Born in Sydney Mines on Sept. 9, 1941, he was the son of the late Andrew and Jessie (Malanka) Tremblett. Danny was raised in Sydney Mines with his brothers and sisters.
Danny worked as a truck driver in Niagara, Ontario, for over 30 years, retiring and returning to Sydney Mines in 2009. Danny loved driving classic cars, and loved to get out on the water to fish with family and friends.
Danny is survived by his son Danny Jr., his daughter Carrie, grandson Parker, and brothers and sisters.
His family would like to thank the staff of Celtic Court for their excellent care, compassion and love they gave to Danny.
Danny’s family will receive visitors on Thursday, April 2, 2015, in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines from 10 – 11 a.m. A celebration of his life will take place at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Nick Phillips officiating.
