DALTON, ELLEN
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen Dalton, wife of the late Bill Dalton, of St. Andrews at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 30, 2015, surrounded by her family.
Ellen is survived by her parents Fred and Thelma Titus, her son Benjamin (Margherita) Bedard, grandchildren Julianna and Joseph, sister Faith (Duff) Boyd, brothers Glen (Mary Louise), Andrew (Kathrine) and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Ellen worked for a number of years at the Royal Bank and later co-owned a pottery gallery in St. Andrews. Her dynamic, outgoing personality turned this shop into one of the most vibrant businesses in the community. She was a generous and friendly person with a concern for other people. Over the years, she was a member of various community groups and committees and was also a candidate for public office. Ellen was instrumental in the establishment of the St. Andrews trail. She will be missed.
As were her wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Food Bank or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
