The death occurred at his late residence, on Tuesday, Jan., 20, 2009, of Norman Ferguson, of Gamble Avenue, Summerside, aged 73 years. Born in St. Thomas, Ont., he was the son of the late Currie and Ruth (Hemsworth) Ferguson. Survived by his wife, Arles (Gallant) Ferguson, children, Connie Cripps (Norman Sinclair), Cold Lake, Alta., Kirsten Ferguson, Summerside, granddaughter, Karla Cripps (Tou Patumsuwon), Thailand, great-grandchildren, Brandon Taochai and Martin Jai Patumsuwon, and by a sister, Helen Palmer, St. Thomas, Ont. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family service will be held on Friday. Interment will later take place. No visiting hours by personal request. Memorial donations to the Dr. W.E. Callaghan, Knights of Columbus, Council 2070, would be appreciated. Members of the Summerside Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home, Friday at 5:30 p.m.
