Overwhelmed, with the kindness and support during the loss of our Dear Melva.
We would like to thank everyone who, visited, called, sent flowers, delivered food, sympathy and Mass cards, memorial donations and online condolences. To those who travelled from far and near it was such a comfort to know that Melva touch so many. Thank you to those who attended the beautiful Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, and especially to Father Daniel Boudreau for his many visits and kind memories of Melva and his words of inspiration “God Bless you”. Thank you to the Altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers and the organist and choir for your beautiful music. To Patricia O’Brien and Allen McCormick for your lovely readings and Melva’s nieces Jean Campbell and Kathleen Maxwell for being part of the offertory procession. The CWL and Ladies Dart League for your Honor Guard, Melva would be so proud and the CWL for providing the special reception following Mass. To Deena, Karen and Johnnie for the beautiful display of memories. To the medical staff and Doctors and EHS, who cared for Melva at the Cape Breton Regional ICU, Glace Bay General, thank you and God Bless you for you all you do. Special thank you to Dr. Gordon Spencer for his exceptional care and kindness given to Melva thought out the years. And to Wayne Weatherbee and Staff of Sydney Memorial for your kind and comforting guidance. Knowing that Melva had touched so many throughout the years with her love, compassion and humor gives us so much comfort, to go on. She will never be forgotten and her light will continue to shine in all of us.
