CODNER, Lizzie Maria– Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles-Escasoni Complex on January 21st, 2009, in the presence of her loving family, Lizzie Codner, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband William Henry Codner, infant son Richard Earl Codner; parents Roland and Mary Ann Doman and brother Brook Doman. Leaving to mourn her sons Robert (Eileen) and Neville (Gerri) at Torbay, son Richard in St. John’s and two daughters Enid (Wayne) Penney of Torbay and Beulah Evans (Frank) at Paradise; John (Brenda) Hickey, Torbay and Vicky (Gary) Stone, St. John’s; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brothers: John Doman and Neville Doman; sister Enid (Raymond) Rossiter; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Thursday, January 22 and Friday, January 23 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from St. Nicholas’ Anglican Church on Saturday, January 24th at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas’ Cemetery, Torbay. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Building Fund or the new St. Nicholas’ Centre for Christian Education, Torbay.
