Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer, Paschal Alexander, 87 of Stephenville Crossing. Predeceased by his parents John and Sarah Eunice Alexander, his brother John and sister Marie, his brothers-in-law Bernard Stacey, Adrian Stacey, Thomas, Stacey, Reggie White, Raymond O'Quinn, Carmen Kilburn, his son Paschal Jr., his two infant children, Mary and Vincent and his daughter-in-law Arlene. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife and best friend of 61 years, Lydia and his devoted children Theresa Young Stephenville Crossing, Marie Atthill (Ed) Stratford, Gertie (Paul) Sabarots, Lower Sackville, John (Marie), Ormocto, Dermot (Delphine), Gallants, Mark, Brampton, Genny Alexander, Kitchener, Annette Mallay (Rob), Paradise, Brian (Marsha), Stephenville Crossing. Seven precious grandchildren: Terry Young Jr. (Cassidy), Okotoks, Eddy, Ashley and Kayla Atthill, Sarah and Michael Mallay, Mitchell Wells and Mandi Alexander. Four beautiful great grandchildren: Connor, Liam, Katie and Ava. Also left to morn, Brothers Jerry (Lavern), Joe (Vera) and sisters Kay O'Quinn and Doris Kilburn. Brothers-in-law Walter Stacey (Joan) and Clem Lambe (Claudia) sisters-in-law Mathilda Fitzpatrick, Theresa Hartson, Betty Stacey and many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thank you to his home care worker Muriel Tobin, Drs. Istanphanous, Jabber, Vermack, Diedericks and Khan for their care during Paschal's final days. Paschal was a dedicated member of the Knights of Colombus for over 60 years and rosary maker for many years. His rosary was sent all around the world. He was a proud member of the IBEW and worked as an industrial electrician all over Canada. We will be forever grateful to the nursing staff of the surgical floor at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for the compassion and care shown to our father and our family, during his illness. Thank you to each one of you. Thank you to all the priests who visited at home and while in the hospital. Resting at Russell's Funeral Home Stephenville Crossing on Saturday, April 4th from 2-4, 7-9 and Sunday, April 5th from 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 6th at 10am. Our Lady of the Assumption Church with Interment to follow at the Stephenville Crossing Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Parish.
